About this site
Why this site exists #
These guides are written by a KNET network consultant with over 15 years in routing and switching, wireless, security, datacentre and telephony across HPE Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet and Check Point.
They started as my own notes. I’d deploy something for one customer, move on for a few months, then need the same thing again and find only half a notepad file. So I started writing them up properly, and publishing them in case they help someone else.
The site was previously networktasks.co.uk. Some guides cover older platforms and are marked as legacy; the concepts usually still hold. If you spot something wrong or out of date, get in touch through KNET.
